Series Spotlight

Today's series is another one of my favorites, although it's not extremely well known, it's worth watching.

Senyuu.

Senyuu is a wonderful series filled with action and adventure, as the heroes travel through the land to defeat evil-
Or at least it looks like it.

In actuality, Senyuu is a hilarious series which is spoofing all true adventure series'.
Oftentimes, strange things will happen that make so little sense that it makes perfect sense if that makes sense.

So, I definitely recommend checking it out if you're into comedy and a variety of strange characters.

Caturday

I like cats.
Now, they're not my favorite animal, but I do like them.
So, for the sake of puns, I'm going to dedicate Saturday's to cats.
Be it actual cats, or characters with cat features if I run out of the real thing, they'll be here.

So, today we have Nyanko Sensei from Natsume Yujin-Cho

Nyanko Sensei is probably my favorite cat ever, despite him not technically being a cat.
Nevertheless, he's fluffy and hilarious, so what's not to love?

Series Spotlight

Time for another series spotlight!

Today's series is a bit different from the others, as it's neither an anime nor a video game. However, it is one of my favorites! I'm a real nerd for history and mythology, along with knights and medieval times, so, of course I'll be a fan of Arthurian legend!

That being said, today's series is one of my favorites: Merlin.

Merlin, of course, revolves around the story of the wizard Merlin and the great King Arthur. Most stories involving King Arthur usually focuses on King Arthur, his wife Guinevere, and the knight Lancelot. Merlin, however, turns the focus to the friendship of Merlin and the king when they're both quite young.
Despite it not following the original legends completely (as my friend likes to point out quite often) it's still a wonderful show and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good fantasy series.

So, that's it for today!

Sweet Siblings

Do you have any sibling characters that you simply adore? Just two siblings that are so wonderful that you can't help but love them?
Well, you're not alone! Each Friday, I'll put some of my favorite siblings into the spotlight.

So, we'll start with Germany/Ludwig and Prussia/Gilbert from Hetalia

The two brothers are similar yet completely different all at once. Nevertheless, they're brothers until the end and enjoy sharing a beer.
Many historical things go into their relationship to make it a bit sad, but in the end, they're just goofy personifications of countries.

While this was a highly mediocre post, I'll attempt to make next week's less rushed.

Series Spotlight

Today's series is one of my favorite games, Story Of Seasons.

Story of Seasons is the new namesake for the popular farming life simulator series Harvest Moon. Due to a new developer taking over, the name was changed.
Nevertheless, the game stays relatively the same, just with new features added.

The goal is, like in many of the other games, to help your town thrive. There are many plants to grow and animals to raise, giving you plenty of things to do. Plus, you can even swim!
Not only that, you can now have your very own shop to sell things from your farm.

Along with all those cool farming features, you also have a nice variety of bachelors and bachelorettes with whom you can start a family! (just so long as you romance them first)

From the sweet and charming Raeger, to the beautiful and kind Iris, there are plenty of different people to choose from.
Unfortunately, you can't marry someone of the same gender; but, you can give a character of any gender the same clothes and facial features so if you'd like to marry a girl character, but have your character look like a girl, then you can!

It's a very fun game, so long as you're not into games with a lot of action. It's more for those who are looking for a game that's relaxing and calm. Plus, there's some pretty cute romance for anyone who appreciates a nice little love story.

Rowdy Rivals

In any series, you're bound to have a couple characters that just don't get along.
Oftentimes, these characters really care about each other deep down, but are either too similar or too different and end up clashing.
This series will highlight such rivalries and we'll have different characters every Thursday.

So, today's lovely pair will be Doug and Dylas from Rune Factory Four!

Throughout the game, these two constantly get on each other's nerves. They bicker quite often, but deep down, they secretly care about one another as proven in many different scenarios.

They're both just a couple of sweethearts with bad tempers.

So that's it for this week's rivals!

Series Spotlight

What's that? You're looking for a new series to check out? Well, look no further. I'm going to be recommending a new series to check out every day! Be it an anime, video game, television series, or anything else!

Starting off, we have an anime. I've been a fan of this anime before it was even an anime! The manga is beautiful and when I saw it was getting made into an anime, I was very excited.

So, without further adieu, I present to you: The Morose Mononokean.

The series revolves around high school students Hanae Ashiya and Haruitsuki Abeno. I don't want to reveal too much of the plot, so let's just say that Ashiya becomes indebted to Abeno and must then work for him to pay off his debt.
It's a really beautiful series and quite funny, so I definitely recommend it if you're a fan of supernatural anime.

Lovely Lovers

Nothing on the internet is complete without couples. You likely live under a virtual rock if you've never heard of ships. So, today I'm going to share a few of my favorite ships. I'll try to stick with the pairings that are more canonical, but I probably won't be able to hold back from throwing in a few that I just personally adore.

First up, we have Gajeel and Levy from Fairy Tail.

One of the first couples I ever shipped, these two hold a special place in my heart. Latest chapters in the manga have only made that better. From their opposite personalities to their absolute sweetness, I just can't help but adore them.

Next, we have Germany and Italy from Hetalia.

While it might sound quite strange to say I ship two countries, these human personifications are just adorable. Many might argue that it's not right historically, but in the series you can't deny that the two are right for each other.

Finally, we have Tomochika Shibuya and Nanami Haruka from Uta No Prince Sama

While not a very popular ship, I personally find it adorable. The two are good friends, and despite the series clearly showing that it's about Haruka and all the numerous male characters, I can't help but love the two of them together.

That's it for now. I'll try to make this a thing on Wednesday's, so until then!

Enticing Enemies

If you've ever read, played, or watched anything, you'll know that oftentimes you'll come across likeable characters that aren't exactly good.
These characters are either the main antagonist of the series or even just a regular ol' baddie. Either way, they deserve some recognition so here are some of  my personal favourite bad guys.

Starting this list we have Zeref from the anime Fairy Tail.

Zeref, without spoiling anything, is a character that you can really feel for. He's just highly misunderstood. You can't help but wish that things work out for him!

Next on this list is Soo Won from Yona Of The Dawn

Soo Won is a complicated character. At times, he gains my adoration, while other times he earns my rage. Nevertheless, it's undeniable that he is a likeable character. His sweet, caring demeanor, his kind smiles, and even his stone cold glares are enough to earn him a spot on this list.

Moving on, we have Leon from Rune Factory Four

While not technically a bad guy, players do have to fight Leon in the game, which by default makes him an enemy.
Leon is an extremely likeable character, despite being a bit of a prankster.

I'll leave it with those three for now. I plan to make this a bit of a series, so next time I'll include a more variated array of characters.

Hello!

Hello! I'm Rehono, and this blog is dedicated to anything and everything!
I'm a big fan of many different things, so this will be a way to share those things.
I specialize in things like video games, anime, and YouTube, but I may post about other things as well.
That's it for now!
